NEW POST COVID RULES FOR ENTRY TO MAURITIUS
As reported by the Viaggiare Sicuri website, https://www.viaggiaresicuri.it/find-country/country/MUS which we always recommend consulting before embarking on a trip abroad, from 20/1/2023 “entry to Mauritius it is permitted without distinction to vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers, without the obligation to present any vaccination certificate or the negative result of an anti-Covid test. The obligation – for non-vaccinated travelers – to undergo a period of fiduciary isolation once they arrive in Mauritius also ceases.”
However, as also indicated on the Mauritius government website, which can be reached at the linkhttps://mauritiusnow.com/ , it is necessary to fill in the “Mauritius All-in-One Travel Digital Form” directly online 72 hours before departure, accessible at the link https://safemauritius.govmu.org/ .
Once the required fields have been filled in, a PDF file will be generated with a QR code which can be presented upon arrival at the airport to the Mauritian authorities.
The use of the mask on site is no longer mandatory, except within hospitals and health centers – both public and private – in rest homes, centers for people with disabilities and in passenger terminals within airports and ports.
